Extended Theme Description:

The Zeke 1.0 Theme was released quite some time ago, but still qualifies as a quality theme from Solostream.

One of the most resounding color schemes found in the theme is red/brown as the header is a red/black wood textured color, main content areas are either white or yellow, and the background area is a “wood paneling” image.

The main reason that I want to highlight the theme is that the core features are there, and with some customization (perhaps you don’t like the header background or main background images), then you will be able to customize them to your liking and still be left with a well-styled theme.

Analyzing the theme from the top to bottom, there is a horizontal navigation bar that displays main pages and sub-pages.  Below this, a Featured Article space is provided, which can be specified by placing it under a “Featured” category slug.  Both the sidebar and area under the featured article can hold advertisements – 468×60 or 250×250 banner, making it easier to monetize your site.

In addition, the theme features a three column layout, which tends to be more common for showcasing a lot of information.  If the demo shows everything that the theme features, there is also a fairly good archives page built into the theme.

A two column version of the theme is also available.
