Extended Theme Description:

The WP-Vybe Theme, designed by Michael Pollock, is a new theme for the WordPress content management system.  It features an advanced theme panel and options for controlling many of the once hard to edit items including the header background.

When many people look for a new theme for their blog or website, it is quite a cumbersome process, as each theme is hard to edit and can’t be easily customized.  However, that all changes with this theme.  The theme admin panel is one of the most extensive on the market today and can’t be beat in the way it works.

Let’s say you need to customize the number of columns and layout.  Simply go into the Theme Admin area, then find the area for customizing that particular function.  Select the option that you want, three columns with a right sidebar, then hit save.  That’s it!  Functionality like this saves a ton of time when you want to create a different look for your theme.  You don’t have to configure the sidebar colors or switch themes either to select the blue color, it is all built into the theme panel.

The theme hasn’t broken away form the main styling features that Michael includes in all his themes – it still features a rather clean look, with an integrated search box, RSS feed link, drop-down navigation menu, and advertisement-ready sidebars.

Use of this theme is nearly limitless – you can customize the theme according to the built-in customization panel or expand upon this and build your own theme based on the framework.  Three plugins – Popularity Contest, WP-Print, and Get the Image are somewhat required if you want to use the theme properly.

There is nearly nothing that I can say negative about this theme, it is simply one of the best on the market and suits personal, professional, and small business blogs.
