Extended Theme Description:

Tasty Showcase is a free WordPress Theme that focuses on making it easy to blog or showcase your work online. On the main page, there is a Flow slider that will “fetch” your four latest posts with a custom image that you have chosen. This image must be specified, otherwise it will use a default image.

Multiple widget-ready areas have been built into the theme, beginning with the sidebar, as well as the footer, homepage footer, and on the 404 template. These make it easy to add your own content to your site without editing the code.

While I don’t have any major problems with the theme, I have some personal issues with the color scheme. I understand that it is/was a HMTL/CSS/JS template, but it would have been nice if multiple color schemes would have been included. Otherwise, it will be up to the user to customize it. The green/black look can certainly work for some sites, but as shown in the comments area on individual posts, the font clashes with the overall look of the theme (making them harder to read).

Other than the minor cosmetic issues (a personal preference), the theme does have some great features and will make it easy to promote your latest posts on the front page, ideal if you are tired of “boring” blog designs with content that can quickly disappear from focus.
