Extended Theme Description:

Snapshot is a free, portfolio theme designed by The WooThemes Team, modeled after their WooThemes Showcase.  It is flexible enough to be used either as a photo showcase, portfolio, or design gallery.

Taking a look at the theme, you have three basic styles: Default (Red), Cool Blue, and Lime Fresh.  They can be switched from the back end of your blog and can be customized rather easily by changing the colors of the images.  The header/main navigation bar contains your internal page links as well as an RSS subscription link.

Below this, all the images/photos are displayed – with the category as a CSS element on top of the images.  You can add tags and post/image ratings to each of the screenshots.  The theme is unique in that on the single post view, you will be able to add content that allows your readers to quickly find what the image/site is about or additional details.

The sidebar is rather small, so the theme isn’t as ideal for placing advertisements, but you can place your ratings here as well as categories or a tag cloud.

For a free theme, there are quite a number of features, although the overall quality might not be as high as some of the “paid” themes available on the site.
