Throughout the past year, at least since our re-launch, we noticed some drastic changes occurring throughout the “themes market.” Some were for the better, and some were for the worse. We tried to cover the updates to the themes to the best of our ability, but as you may know, there is only so much time  in each day.

We hope to change that going forward. Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed that a number of themes have disappeared from the site. There is good reason for this: they are no longer available for download or purchase. Since beginning to filter through the themes, approximately one hundred of the four hundred or so that we have showcased on the site have been discontinued or removed entirely from their sites. In some cases, all the themes from an author were removed.

On top of this, pricing, brand names, links, and themes were changed, making a large percentage of the themes on this site not up-to-date. Our main goal in creating this site was to allow visitors to find appropriate themes without struggling through dozens of links just to get to the release, purchase, or demo page. Unlike many other sites that “collect” themes, we update themes as they are released, not simply “reposting” the theme when changes are made.

We need to have input from you on what types of themes we should focus on. That could involve micro-blogging themes, magazine themes, premium/free themes, etc. Again, we will try to get a wider variety of themes on the site in the upcoming weeks.

Now, we also want some of your feedback – if you notice any themes not directing you to the right pages, please let us know. That could be due to themes that don’t exist anymore or errors on our part.

Finally, we’ve joined Twitter. You can find updates and links to posts as they are released. We may even throw in some WordPress-related news and tips.
