Extended Theme Description:

SimplePerfect is a professional theme with absolutely no cost attached. The theme was named “SimplePerfect” because it is both a simple theme and more “perfect” than previous themes the designer released in the past.

The theme takes some attributes from many premium themes, including the tabbed sidebar area, no custom fields or resizing required on your part, and a customizable footer area. In general, the theme is extremely clean and optimized, at least in regard to other themes that take on a similar look.

Starting with the header, there is a simple area for your logo and a search box. Beneath this, the basic navigation menu (no drop-down menus as far as I know, but this could be implemented if you wanted them) is displayed.

Most posts appear to utilize a “More »” link to split up articles for better viewing. The images to the left of the posts are created automatically when you upload an image, and are not implemented using Custom Fields, which is a bonus for anyone that has used them in the past for inserting images.

Comments have Gravatars implemented, and comments and trackbacks are separated for better viewing of comments, especially when you have many. The footer features links for your readers to subscribe by RSS and email, as well as a link to follow you on Twitter. An “About Us” statement can also be implemented in this area.

In conclusion, this theme can work for you if you want a basic blog theme, with some advanced features to make it easier to begin. There are some simple things that I would change, but it is certainly a better theme than many others out there.
