The No Good News WordPress Theme is the ultimate in premium themes, as it is extremely well-styled, with advanced features that many other premium themes do not have.
In the header of the theme, there is a search box, links to pages, and an RSS subscription link, as well as an area to place a 468×60 banner advertisement. The logo is image-based, so you’ll need to create one for the theme unless you style the theme to allow a textual site name.
Beneath this area, there are links to categories and archive pages. Your latest post and featured post are displayed above post excerpts from selected categories, articles of interest, recent headlines, and additional content.
When you browse through the single post pages, you’ll find that users can quickly enlarge the post image through a link automatically added to the top of the page, “Share This” social bookmarking links, related posts, and Gravatar-ready comments.
The sidebar allows you to place 180×150 block advertisements and “Recent News”, with complimentary images that have been resized from the images that you used in the post content.
Overall, I like the color scheme and unique layout of the content, although a theme backend panel would be useful, especially since it is becoming “standard” in premium magazine themes. Check out No Good News today!
