Monochrome Pro is the ideal theme for people that want to create a fully functional magazine or newspaper theme using WordPress.
Some of the most unique features about this theme include the AJAX post slideshow, custom theme admin page for easier customization, and multiple page templates, extending the functionality of your website.
Taking a closer look into the theme, there are drop-down menus for categories, possibly drop-down menus for the pages area, and a layout that supports adding daily content – each post from your categories is displayed on the homepage.
This theme may require less initial customization due to the non-graphical logo and slightly easier configuration. There are, however, a few steps that need to be completed before publishing each post. You must use 128×128 pixel thumbnail images in the Custom Fields area and add an image to the Author’s page in order for the theme to appear correctly without blank spaces.
