Extended Theme Description:
The Modicus Remix Theme, a clean, elegant, and highly customizable theme designed by Brad Mahaffey of Art Culture, is a free theme based off the work of Upstart Blogger’s “Modicus” theme.
This version of the theme is extremely minimalist, as it doesn’t offer the same level of flexibility as the original theme, but offers a unique variation of the theme, providing a different experience for the end user.
There are very few negatives of the theme, every element is well styled. You may need to increase the size of the font as it is quite small at the current state.
Installation: There aren’t many additional steps to install the theme, besides needing to create an Archives page to take advantage of the pre-styled page.
Support: General support will not be provided, as it is considered “unsupported,” so you need to seek support on your own when modifying it.
Additional Features:
- Clean theme.
- Primarily white with black and red text and gray accent areas.
- Designed for people who want to focus on content instead a slow loading and bloated theme.
- Compatible with WordPress 2.5+ and it has recently (May 2008) been updated and optimized.
