Extended Theme Description:

Lifestyle 1.1 is an updated version of the feature-rich Lifestyle Theme, which was previously reviewed here at Blog Themes Plus. This theme is fully compatible with WordPress 3.0 and included a number of new features and options. Normally, I wouldn’t do additional reviews for minor updates and releases, but since this update provides additional functionality and options, I thought it would be worth passing on to everyone.

Taking a closer look at the theme, you’ll discover lots of areas to place your content, including a customizable, image-based header, drop-down menus, a featured content gallery/slider, as well as lots of space for your featured categories and latest articles.

The sidebar can accommodate advertisements as well as embedded video, making it easy to customize the theme by adding your own content. Furthermore, the custom page templates let you cater your site to different types of content, whether you are featuring images or video, or simply text-based content.

One of the best new features in this version is the ability to add custom backgrounds and headers, which is now included within WordPress 3.0. This allows you to easily change the background color – and five new variations are included. Choose one of these to give your site the look you desire or create your own background to truly make your site unique and stand out!
