Extended Theme Description:
Impulse is a new theme designed by WP Zoom for nearly any type of site – ranging from photography blogs to galleries and professional portfolios. Included are three beautiful color schemes – blue, dark, and silver, and the theme is packed with dozens of features, providing an enormous value for your money.
Integrated is a beautiful jQuery slider, custom fonts for the headers, and dynamic thumbnail resizing to ensure all your images are the correct sizes for your blog. Four page templates, unique widgets, and more are included.
We’ll be taking a closer look at the theme. On the main page, you’ll find a prominent area to place your logo as well as a tagline. Beneath this, a breadcrumb navigation bar is displayed, letting your visitors know which page they are located on. A welcome message and paragraph are displayed below, along with a featured content slider. Recent posts with automatically generated thumbnails, plus excerpts are included in an elegant manner beneath this.
Social bookmarking buttons/options and drop-down page menus are included towards the top of the page, as well as separate icons on individual posts.
In the footer of the theme, there is a multi-column area for pages, categories, meta information, or anything else you want to showcase in this area. Unique, custom thumbnails are laid out well within the sidebar on individual pages and archives pages are also designed with your visitors in mind.
All in all, the theme has been well-designed and makes it easy to create a portfolio online. Without this theme, it would normally take quite some time to set up a portfolio/magazine theme online.
