Extended Theme Description:

The Flexx Theme, which is one of the most advanced themes available on the market, is now available at the rather affordable price of $79.95 for a multiple-use license and $199.95 for a package containing all eighteen color variations and styles.

While there are multiple versions of the theme, allowing you to customize the theme in more than a thousand different ways, each has a rather uniform style when you place them on top of one another. At the top of the theme, there is an area for placing links to pages and sub-pages, a rotating header image, and links to your categories and/or tags.

Beneath the rather large header area, you can place links and content in the three column header area, which makes it easy to increase page views to content that is usually pushed to the bottom of the sidebar with the need to extra space for more important content. As in the example, they have placed a Welcome Message, Latest Posts, and a Twitter Feed there, however this area is completely customizable and widget-ready.

The sidebar contains a split two/three column layout, meaning that you can customize how wide or small it is from the back-end or use different widgets to increase the size of the area – in that links to admin pages shouldn’t be as wide as an advertisement widget.

Because the theme is WordPress 2.7-ready, I believe that threaded comments and features included in this version should be available within the download files, although they may be coming in an update or future version. However, it is still backwards-compatible with previous versions of WordPress if you are concerned about compatibility with plugins.

Finally, when you look at the footer, it is reminiscent of the header area, in which there is a three-column layout and space for items like social networking profiles, resources, and advertising details.

All in all, I like the many features that the theme has, although the theme could use better typography and spacing around some of the areas – again, this isn’t a huge deal and could be addressed by the end-user, but could be looked at. The theme is ideal for people that want an advanced theme for their blog or business website – there are features to please nearly everyone!

What you’ll find when you download the theme is one of the most complex, but easiest-to-use themes available.
