Exposure is a revolutionary new theme from WooThemes, designed to make publishing image and gallery displays in your posts extremely easy. From WooThemes, you’ll receive their traditional world-class support, advanced customization panels, and easy-to-follow installation and usage guides.

Most photography themes are unnaturally complex to edit and make it difficult to make an impact online. One of the main reasons for this is due the large number of blogs present on the web showcasing images. Most have a similar format and layout, making it difficult for yours to stand out. That all changes with Exposure – you have full control over the look and layout of your theme, and there is no reason why you couldn’t publish new photos each day.

Across all browsers, the theme will display properly. At the top of the theme, there is an area for placing a logo, combined with a tagline, if you choose. Links to your pages are displayed next to this, and in a drop-down manner. Don’t worry about creating additional navigation areas, as everything has been built into the theme and automated.

A welcome message is displayed beneath the main navigation/header area, and this makes it an ideal site to seal the deal before you entice your new visitors into your site with a message about yourself or what types of photographs you take.

Getting onto the main content area, you’ll discover that there are alternating styles in which photographs are separated by category. This is the ideal format for most photographers, as you can separate them by location, type of photograph, or any other method that you choose. Because each post acts as a widget, you can re-arrange and set the format for each. I’m sure (not quite a guarantee) that this will save a lot of people a lot of time when re-arranging and setting the format of their main page.

Heading into the footer area, you’ll find a three/four-column format, depending on how you look at it. There is space for links and other content, including banner ads or widgets.

Individual posts/pages are styled similar to many other blogs that WooThemes has released. There really isn’t much room for adding details about the photograph in the text format, although the theme wasn’t designed for that. Styled, threaded, and Gravatar-integrated comments are included within these individual posts. Image details are integrated into the right sidebar, along with a search box, Flickr photos, and other widgets.

22+ color styles are included, but some of them have such minor changes that they could have been made with a few minor CSS changes. However, it make sit much easier for a user of the theme to customize and change the theme – nearly a month of changes are possible without ever editing code!
