Taking a closer look at the theme, there is a drop-down navigation menu above the main area of the theme and your logo/title, with drop-down menus for categories listed beneath this. This is ideal for getting your readers to travel through the various areas within your site.
A search box and subscription links have been integrated into the area immediately beneath this. A scrolling content slider displays your featured posts, and automatically generated thumbnails are integrated into the area.
Recent entries from various categories are displayed in a magazine/excerpt format beneath this, ensuring your blog always looks updated as long as you are publishing a few posts each day – this is a news theme, after all.
The main right-placed sidebar is ideal for placing additional links and resources, and this travels into the three-column footer, ideal for even more text or links. While Twitter hasn’t been integrated into this theme, it would be fairly easy to do so through a widget.
