Extended Theme Description:
Diarise is a professional WordPress Theme from WooThemes, providing a way to showcase your company/organization’s events in a neat home page tabber, along with past events or featured events in a slick scroller. Easily add events straight to your calendar and link your events to booking forms. The theme can be used for lots of purposes, so please read on if you are interested in this great theme.
The main page of the template looks fairly complex (in a good way), offering your visitors the ability to quickly see events that have been schedule din upcoming months, as well as the ability to see past/featured events. They can also scroll through all the events by clicking “Previous Event” or “Next Event.”
Beneath this area, there is a “Highlights” area, which has been designed to help you promote previous events. In the demo of the theme, they used “WordCamp San Francisco,” “Future of Web Design,” “Woo on the Beach,” and “DIBI Conference.” This area will help future attendees with their decision whether they should attend based on previous events.
Further down the page, you’ll find recent posts (and excerpts), along with a sidebar that you can add links to pages and advertisements. The footer is three-columns, ideal for featured media, customer feedback, and recent photos from Flickr.
A number of custom pages have also been included in the template. To use them, you simply select the page format you want to use, and then the page will be formatted to your liking. This makes it easy to integrate a full-width page or a photo gallery.
