Extended Theme Description:

ClassiPress is the first and only WordPress theme dedicated to classifieds websites, theme designed by WP Glamour and Daily WordPress.

The theme features a bold, white and blue, sleek theme design with a large search box and “Post a Classified!” areas, so it is easy for users to submit new advertisements.

Categories are displayed in a horizontal navigation (tabbed) bar, but the page must refresh with each change of category, which may be seen as a disadvantage over AJAX or other “no refresh” methods.

Beyond this, items are placed in the box beneath its category with the price, location, and post date.

Overall, the ClassiPress theme offers a wide array of features for managing your classifieds and allowing others to post them on your site.  It is with welcome relief that this was created, as most other solutions are poorly manageable, plus you are working in a familiar environment with WordPress.

One feature that I would like to see integrated, possibly in a future version, is a blog/news page, although it wouldn’t be too hard to create a new page layout or add it as a separate WordPress installation.

Support: You will need to contact one of the designers for support.

Additional Features:

  • Settings page to change and edit all the theme settings and features.
  • Simple, easy to use both for visitors and yourself.
  • Submitting Classifieds - Visitors simply need to click “Post a Classified!” and fill out the form, since they don’t need to register on your site.
  • Theme Options - You can choose if users need to be registered in order to post a classified ad and if the ad will go to the front page or not, or manually approve it.  Your currency may be changed and a set of over 50 icons has been provided for each category.
  • Managing Classifieds - The WordPress post management area serves as an ideal way to manage the classifieds.
  • Usability - A form is displayed on each page, so you or visitors can quickly post a new classified ad and add images and descriptions to the ad.
  • RSS Feeds - The theme includes RSS feeds, so you or your visitors can keep track of new ads placed on the site.
  • No Plugins Required - The theme requires no plugins to be installed, as all options are built into the theme.  No extra editing is required either, it is ready straight after you download/purchase the theme.

License Breakdown:

  • Single Use Package ($79.00) - The single-use license is for people who want to use the theme on a single website; the credit line is not to be removed.
  • Developer Package ($199.00) - The developer license is for people who want to use the theme on multiple websites; the credit links may be removed.

    Thanks for the review :)
Some features that the new version of the theme will have also includes image upload right from the form.
There will also be a page with a changed design that you can use for pages like contact page or about page or to write something else.

    Gaby,
No problem, I (and other WordPress users) are looking forward to new themes and enhancements to the themes.
There is certainly a high demand for specialty themes, from both the developer and individual user standpoint.
