Extended Theme Description:

Backstage is one of the most recent themes added to the great collection at WooThemes. The theme is powerful in that it will allow any musician or artist to get his or her media, upcoming shows, news, and music online and make promotion easy.

The main page of the theme focuses on really showcasing information about your band. While the theme is customizable, you can take a look at the theme demo for how the theme can be laid out. At the top of the theme, there is a welcome message, integrated search box, and a listing of your upcoming shows.

In the main content area, you’ll find a news area, as well as an area for media and related content (down the left sidebar). This is the perfect place for videos, photos, and music samples for your fans to listen to or for visitors to discover.

Special pages have been built into the theme, which make it easy to begin building your theme without having to worry about creating these pages in the future – they have been pre-styled, so all you have to do is create a page and apply the template for these pages, and you’re done. This makes it easy for your visitors to discover all your content through the built-in archives page, for example.

Overall, the theme has been well-designed. While I personally don’t like the content layout (somewhat disorganized), it still works, as bands need to place a lot of content on their site in order to help promote their message and their music. Check out the theme demo link displayed within the sidebar or the other features, which have been listed below.
