Wow, this is a fantastic list. Very helpful, thanks! Wordpress is really exploding right now, so the more info you have the better off you are. In fact, I just read an article about hot job skills for 2008 that features Wordpress. It shows wordpress trends as having increased by 4 times from that of the previous year. I found this encouraging (and figured I’d share) because in this economy, it’s good to be a part of something that is actually in demand.

Looking forward to your next post. :-)

    43. Degidio Says:

Whenever a new WordPress version comes out, I get an itch to upgrade as quickly as possible. Generally, this is not a good idea, unless you enjoy working out new software bugs and dealing with broken plugins. Still, sooner or later you still have to upgrade and there is always a chance that something will go terribly wrong. You always need to make a backup. Here is the script that will created a compressed tarball of your entire WordPress installation directory: http://www.krazyworks.com/wordpress-backup-script/

    44. Fleeman Says:

I am impressed by the effort that went into your writing and the way you managed to keep the flow from Introduction of the topic to the summary. Do you think you might cover recent developments in marketing online or what are your thoughts about that.
